The November book choice was The Whole Day Through written by Patrick Gale. Chosen by Nikki because she had just been blown away by Notes from an Exhibition by the same author the book scored 24 out of a possible 40. An easy enjoyable read shedding light on what happens when young lovers meet later in life carrying the baggage that comes with age. Not quite the page turner that Notes from an Exhibition was but nevertheless very readable. A rather unexpected ending fuelled our discussion!
